This meeting will be a Christmas themed arts and crafts session with mince pies.
Croydon Group Meeting

This month’s meeting will be a Winter Party! Bring your festive cheer, and cheesy jumpers to enjoy a winter themed evening! We will look at goal setting all those new year’s resolutions for 2015 whilst munching mince pies! Look forward to seeing you all there!

Pantomime Time!
Come and see Cinderella at the Wimbledon Theatre for our next social event. We are aware we did not have anything planned for November but thought it might be nice to go all out and do something really BIG!
There are 7 wheelchair spaces available in the theatre for this show. Tickets are fast selling out so please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to come so that we can book tickets.

TIME: 2pm matinee show
WHERE: Wimbledon Theatre – Wimbledon Broadway.
We need to know whether you want to come by the 26th November. If you reply after that time we cannot guarantee you at ticket to see this performance with us.

Family and Friends Support Meeting
Headway Southwest London has just started running monthly Family and Friends Support Meetings, open to any carer, relative or friend of a person affected by a brain injury. Our fourth meeting took place on Wednesday 1st October, and was a great opportunity to meet others and share experiences over a cup of tea. Meetings take place the first Wednesday, alternating between Wimbledon and Croydon.

2014 HSWL Fun Run
This year’s HSWL Fun Run will take place on Sunday 28 September. All welcome!
The run will start at the Bricklayer’s Arms in Putney (SW15 1DD), with registration by 9.30am. We will run or walk our way to Hammersmith Bridge and back (about 4 miles). It’s £5 to enter (on the day) and all proceeds go to HSWL.
All back to the Bricklayer’s Arms afterwards for a free pint, sandwich and sausage roll. All finishers get a certificate, too!

There will also be a HSWL social event on Saturday 13 September at Wimbledon Odeon. The plan is to attend a matinee showing. Tickets will be purchased for members and if a support worker or carer is coming with them they will go free. For now, pencil in 13 September and look out for more information on our Facebook page.
