Upcoming carers’ meeting

Headway South West London has just started running monthly family and friends support meetings, open to any carer, relative or friend of a person affected by a brain injury. Our second meeting took place on Wednesday 2 July, and was a great opportunity to meet others and share experiences in a relaxed environment. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of every month in a variety of venues, alternating between Wimbledon and Croydon.

When?  Wednesday 6 August 2014, 7.30 – 9pm

Upcoming social

Please join us for lunch at The Old Frizzle pub in Wimbledon for our July social on Saturday 12 July from 1pm – 4pm. We would love to see you there!

HSWL will cover your lunch and be on hand to assist you if needed between 1pm and 4pm.

Please be aware:
– HSWL volunteers will be leaving at 4pm. If you wish to stay on you are very welcome.
– We cannot arrange transport, so if you need a taxi please book it in advance and we will make sure we keep the mobile phone with us if you need to contact one of the facilitators at any time between 1pm and 4pm.

We hope to see you there, for some good food and a good natter. RSVP to services@headwayswlondon.org before Monday 7 July if you would like to come.

Monthly carers’ support meetings

HSWL have just started running monthly carers’ support meetings, alternating between Wimbledon and Croydon, taking place on the first Wednesday of each month. The group is open to any carer, family member or friend of a person affected by brain injury.

The group offers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and share experiences in a relaxed, informal environment over a drink. The next meeting will take place in Croydon.

When? Wednesday 2 July, 7.30 – 9pm.
Where? The Treehouse, 78 South End, Croydon, CR0 1DP. Please head for the restaurant area when you arrive.

If possible, let Hannah know you’re coming by emailing admin@headwayswlondon.org – but if you’d like to just turn up on the night that would be great, too.
