HSWL Annual BBQ
Despite some menacing clouds and rather large raindrops at times, HSWL’s annual barbeque was a great success. Fortunately, as well as some cover under the Wolfson balcony we also had our newly acquired pop-up gazebo so just about everybody managed to stay dry. The gazebo got its first outing at Wimbledon Village Fair and has already proved its worth. All thanks to Evelyn our Treasurer for organising it for us.
The food was a highlight. Our master-chef was Rachel – and she just kept the food coming. Loads of comments on how delicious it was. When none of us could manage any more, we moved on to team games. Everyone took part and competition was fierce. All in all, a great fun evening.
