Review of July Social Group outing

On 23 July an intrepid group set out to conquer the Hampton Court Maze… and returned quite unscathed and in record time. Trying not to be too proud of this achievement, we then set out exploring the rest of Hampton Court Palace and gardens, getting lost only a few times. A Wonderful day was had by all who came. Certainly helped by the appearance of some summer sun, and we ensured there was a healthy balance of history, chatting and refreshments! Thanks To Harris Cartier for funding the outing.

Social Group outing – 23 July 2011

Join us for our next social outing – this time it’s a Saturday day trip.

We’ll be going back in time to the Tudor world of Hampton Court Palace. There’s plenty to do – roam around the Great Hall, get lost in the famous maze, have a gander at Henry VIII’s apartments, enjoy the magnificent riverside gardens and a devour a traditional English afternoon tea.

The £5 fee  includes entrance fee, picnic lunch and afternoon tea.  Further details are on our Social Group page.

Harris Cartier is proud to be sponsoring an exciting new project developed by Headway South West London. Headway has recently introduced the “Harris Cartier Social Group”, which will offer members a range of trips and social activities during the course of the year.

Harris Cartier Solicitors specialise in acting for clients who have sustained a brain injury. Our solicitors are members of a number of specialist panels and organisations, including the Headway Personal Injury Solicitors List and the Law Society’s Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence panels. The Head of our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department, Kent Pattinson, is delighted that Harris Cartier is able to sponsor these important social days out for the members of the Headway South West London group. Kent states that “We know from experience that, following a traumatic brain injury, an individual can feel isolated as the injury prevents many sufferers from returning to work. The social days out will encourage members to re-engage and feel part of their community once again. I have no doubt that it will provide members with a great day or evening out, give them an opportunity to meet new people, improve their confidence and self esteem, thereby reinforcing important social and life skills. I welcome feedback from the members who are able to participate in the social days out and would be delighted to receive photographs of the days out over the forthcoming year”.
