August Family & Friends Lunch

August’s meeting will be a family and friends lunch with the opportunity to meet others in similar situations whilst enjoying a meal together.  The lunch is open to any carer, relative or friend of a person affected by a brain injury.

When?  Friday 28th August 2015, 1 pm – 2:30 pm
Where? The Old Frizzle, 74 – 78 The Broadway, Wimbledon, SW19 1RQ
Cost? Costs will be covered by Headway South West London

We have an area booked near to the front of the pub so you will be able to find us easily.  If you would like to attend please do let me know so we know how many to book for, though we are aware that things may crop up on the day meaning that you are no longer able to attend.  Additionally, if you decide to attend on the day you are more than welcome to come along on the day too.  There will be no cost to those who attend as all food and drink will be paid for by Headway South West London.

July Family & Friends Yoga Session

I hope everyone is well. Thanks to everyone who came along to last week’s lunch, it was great to catch up. In July we’re planning on another yoga session.

The session will be run by Alex especially for our carers group, suitable for all abilities and with plenty of relaxation. It will be a great opportunity to try some yoga in a supportive environment so please do come along whatever your experience. Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing, mats are provided. The session is open to any carer, relative or friend of a person affected by a brain injury.

May Family & Friends Yoga Session

yogaIt was so good to see so many of you at April’s meeting for lunch at The Old Frizzle.

In May, we are planning something a bit different with a yoga session. The session will be run by Alex especially for our carers group, suitable for all abilities and with plenty of relaxation. Alex has experience of working with carers so I’m sure this will be a wonderful session for all those who attend. It should be a great opportunity to try some yoga in a supportive environment so please do come along whatever your experience. The session is open to any carer, relative or friend of a person affected by a brain injury.
