August Family & Friends Lunch
August’s meeting will be a family and friends lunch with the opportunity to meet others in similar situations whilst enjoying a meal together. The lunch is open to any carer, relative or friend of a person affected by a brain injury.

Where? The Old Frizzle, 74 – 78 The Broadway, Wimbledon, SW19 1RQ
Cost? Costs will be covered by Headway South West London
The Old Frizzle is situated close to Wimbledon station and further details can be found here http://www.theoldfrizzle.co.uk
We have an area booked near to the front of the pub so you will be able to find us easily. If you would like to attend please do let me know so we know how many to book for, though we are aware that things may crop up on the day meaning that you are no longer able to attend. Additionally, if you decide to attend on the day you are more than welcome to come along on the day too. There will be no cost to those who attend as all food and drink will be paid for by Headway South West London.

August Richmond Group Meeting

This month at Richmond we will talk about cooking and share different recipe ideas. It’s often difficult to eat healthy when we don’t have much spare time to prepare food/cook in the week. Please bring a favourite recipe to share and we can chat about how different recipes can be adapted to help understanding of information following a brain injury.

July Group Meetings
Wimbledon Group Meeting
Tuesday 14th July, 7:30-9pm
Chipotle Restaurant, 40 Wimbledon Hill Road, London SW19 7PA
The Wimbledon meeting this month will not be in Drake House, but instead in a lovely Mexican restaurant on Wimbledon Hill Road. This will a social meeting with an opportunity to have a chat and enjoy a meal courtesy of Headway South West London. We will meet at Chipotle restaurant at 7.30pm on Tuesday 14th July. Croydon Group Meeting

This month’s Croydon group meeting will be a look at fatigue management. Come along and share your tips to beat fatigue with the group.
Richmond Group Meeting

Following Richmond’s June meeting, the request from the group is to have an education and shared discussion around changes and challenges with cognition. Attendees are keen to learn about others’ experiences and any strategies each other uses to manage their difficulties with changes in cognition.
