In 2018 Justine Speigelberg, a HSWL trustee and experienced neuro-physiotherapist, returned with this regular group for carers to meet in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere as well as introducing new discussion topics.
The group is open to any carer, family member, or friend of a person affected by an acquired brain injury and aims to provide:
Come and join us for a morning of yoga followed by conversation. Kim Jackson is an Ashtanga yoga teacher and has her own experiences as a carer for her mother who had brain injuries. She has a deep understanding in the need for self care when caring for others. There will be a maximum of 15 places and please also see the advert for this event here. Some of you may already have your own yoga mats or let Justine know if you need us to supply one for you.
