10 Bridges Walk 2010 – Final Report
We are delighted to announce that the final total of monies collected for sponsorship of members of Headway South West London taking part in the recent 10 Bridges Walk is an amazing £2,238.15.
The photo shows John Alderton, who launched the event, with Rory, Evelyn and Kerryn, members of HSWL.
We would like to say a big thank you to all who took part, especially our team sponsors, Turner Broadcasting Europe, Harris Cartier LLP, Russell-Cooke LLP and Stewarts Law LLP and of course a big thank you to Sandra Ma, of Headway East London, who organised the event.

Richmond to Windsor Cycle for Headway
They say it never rains but it pours……..
As most of you will know, we chose the website “Just Giving” to be the vehicle through which people could sponsor members of Headway South West London on the recent 10 Bridges walk, and very successful they were too, as you will read in another post on this site.
You can imagine our surprise when we found that someone else had chosen Headway South West London as their designated charity. Andy Mathias wrote
“On Sunday 20th June I will be participating in a Charity ride from Richmond to Windsor, following a course of 50 miles. The course will be starting at Old Deer Park in Richmond, going through Twickenham and Weybridge, finishing in Windsor (hopefully with a pint and some food!) later.
I have chosen to collect sponsorship for Headway South West London who are a prominant brain injury charity.”
We can’t show you a photo of Andy, but here is his bike! Andy completed the ride, and we hope had his pint and food in Windsor and raised £515.00 for us.
