Following last year’s Wimbledon Tennis Stadium Tour, this year we’re starting our run of social events with an exclusive “_behind-the-scenes_” tour of the AFC Wimbledon Stadium.
You’ll learn about the inspiring journey of a football club that emerged from adversity to become a leading example of fan ownership. The tour covers 136 years of club history, from its very first match on Wimbledon Common, through decades of change and the unforgettable 1988 FA Cup Final, to the split that led to AFC Wimbledon’s rebirth. Discover how the club climbed the leagues once again, culminating in perhaps its greatest triumph—returning to Plough Lane thanks to a fans-funded campaign.
*The tour is wheelchair accessible.

Our Previous Social Events:
Throughout the year we normally organise regular social events to help members meet new people, make more friends, feel part of the community, and get more confident at trying out new things. Our previous outings have included Hampton Court, London Zoo, Brighton, Kew Gardens, in addition to meals out, bowling, and trips to the cinema.

July 2025
April Social 2025 – Wimbledon Tennis Museum Tour
There was a good turnout for the April social which included a guided tour of Centre Court, a visit to the tennis museum and Cake at the Wimbledon cafe afterwards.
February Social 2025 – Afternoon Tea at St Mark’s Church Hall
We had an afternoon tea with hot drinks, cakes and sandwiches at the fantastic St Mark’s Church Hall. There was a great turnout and fun had by all.
Christmas Social 2024 – The Dog and Fox
