Staff & Volunteers

Our Staff

Headway South West London is a small local charity.  All of our services are provided by a network of volunteers and the charity is governed by a group of trustees.

Services Manager

Lauren MacreadyLauren Macready

I am Headway South West London’s Services Manager. I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for over four years and currently work in a Brain Injury rehabilitation setting. Working in this field is a big passion of mine and I am very much looking forward to the opportunity of working for such a worthy charity that supports adults who have sustained a brain injury. In my spare time, I love dancing, reading and eating hearty English food. I’m from North Yorkshire and so love escaping the city to go walking in the countryside.

Volunteer Service Administrator

Rosy BeerRosy Beer

I joined Headway SW London as Service Administrator in June 2012. I have lived in South West London for all of my life, except when I lived in Southsea to attended Portsmouth University. I work full time as Team Administrator for the Multi-Agency Safeguarding and Child Protection Team at Merton Council so I am able to use my knowledge of the area, and my administrative skills, to support HSWL. I am learning a lot about brain injury as I go. In my spare time I babysit, swim, read and go to a lot of gigs. I love indie nights out, eating foods from around the world and drinking tea.

PR Adviser

Catherine Breslin Catherine Breslin

I joined Headway in 2011 as I want to use my healthcare communications and charity experience within my local community. I work as a press officer for a large healthcare organisation, and enjoy learning how to street dance, running and London life.
